Total Retail Value: $38

This months shirt is pretty time sensitive.  I wanted to make up for the delay in the July shipment (SORRY, but now you know why I wanted to wait for the blue one J)   More importantly, I wanted to get you this shirt BEFORE anyone else has it and the event takes place!  YES! Only you have this shirt, not even anyone from RTF has one yet!

I included a couple fliers for the Shirt Swag Club that I would appreciate you pass onto your buddies that have noticed your sudden improvement in wardrobe choices.  If you would like more to take to an event etc, feel free to let me know and I will get them headed your way!  A lot of people think they just get a T-Shirt…and that isn’t the case…heck you know!  and Where did the Summer go?!  ~ Charlene

About Rubicon Trail Foundation:

Rubicon Trail Foundation LogoLand Use are two words that have become overused, sometime abused and unfortunately turn most people off when said or used in a title. (You should be questioning me right now on why they were the first two words of this article!) The problem is…every piece of land that we have to recreate on is under attack. It’s just the plain truth.  The abundance of information flow has to happen.  The effort and time has to be there…or our fancy tires will become useless.  There are three types of Organizations that are considered Land Use Groups: National, State and Specific.  I would like to introduce you to the Rubicon Trail Foundation that is specific to the efforts of keeping the Historic Rubicon Trail in California open and accessible to all motorized vehicles.

I have had the opportunity to work with them on multiple projects including the upcoming Cantina for the ConI’ll be there, if you want to make a trip out to the Rubicon! The Sat & Sun of Labor Day weekend at the Loon Lake entrance they serve up tacos all day, have a vendor show, have a RC Rock Crawling Course, have a Sat night Drive-In Movie (new this year!) and a lot more.  The main attraction (other than the awesome tacos and the above mentioned) is the HUGE Raffle.  Thousands of Dollars of prizes from great companies (yours?) are collected in efforts to raffle off to the Rubicon Trail’s benefit.

cantina for the conYOU CAN WIN FROM YOUR COUCH!  Yep, if you aren’t in the area you can call and purchase raffle tickets…  Items can be shipped to you or pickup arrangements can be made.  888-6-RUBICON  Win a Toyota Truck donated by Dave’s Off-Road and Trail-Gear – Also on Sunday, you can WIN a completely built wheeler for only $10!   Dave’z Off Road and Trail-Gear have teamed up to build a 1979 Toyota 4×4 Pick up that Rubicon Trail Foundation will raffle off at Cantina for the Con 2013. Of course, there is always the opportunity to make your 501c3 Tax Deductable Donation at any point throughout the year.

Cantina for the ConThe Rubicon Trail Foundation is a federally recognized, non-profit organization dedicated to the future health of the Rubicon Trail.  The Rubicon Trail Foundation acts as the support for Rubicon work projects and as a liaison with local government organizations. This support can range from getting approval for projects from the appropriate agencies, to feeding the volunteers, to buying the supplies needed to maintain the trail. We also fight the efforts of others to close or restrict use of the Rubicon Trail System.  All funds raised help to enhance the future health of the Rubicon Trail, while ensuring responsible motorized year-round access.  Our Officers and Directors represent a wide variety of Rubicon Trail users and supports.  These include trail users, land owners, county representatives, manufacturers, and Rubicon event organizers.  For more information on getting involved or supporting the Rubicon Trail Foundation please call us at 888-6-RUBICON or visit our website at

I have also included a 2013 Bower Media Calendar.  Yea, I know that it is already August, but this box needs to find a happy home and I thought you could use one (or another one in some of your cases!)  Take it to the FALKEN_LOGO_CATAGORY-largeoffice, to the garage, or wherever it fits best for you…the pictures are cool!  Does your club, company etc need a calendar for 2014?  It’s time to put them together, and I would be more than willing to help with that!
